All FX Series PLCs are equipped with built-in open collector high-speed counters; up to 60 kHz for the FX3G/FX3GC/FX3S and up to 100 kHz for the FX3U/FX3UC. These high-speed inputs are connected to external devices such as encoders and ultrasound sensors for system feedback control.
